Context
A multinational organisation wanted mid-level leaders to strengthen leadership, strategic thinking, and execution capability. Leaders needed a programme where learning could be applied directly to real business challenges, with practical support to ensure ideas turned into action.
The organisation also aimed to foster cross-regional collaboration, improve leadership confidence, and align leaders with organisational objectives. In other words, they wanted a programme that was both impactful and measurable.
Challenge
Despite attending conventional leadership workshops, participants struggled to implement new skills in their day-to-day roles. Consequently, learning often remained theoretical, and business outcomes were not consistently improved. The organisation required a development solution that combined hands-on application with personalised coaching, ensuring that leaders could confidently translate learning into action.
Additionally, mid-level leaders faced varying levels of experience, cultural differences across regions, and high-pressure environments that demanded strong decision-making, communication, and collaboration skills.
Simitri Approach
Simitri designed a six-month case study-based programme combining interactive workshops, action learning projects, and one-to-one coaching. First, participants engaged in workshops to develop essential leadership and problem-solving skills. Then, they applied these skills to action learning projects addressing real organisational challenges. Finally, coaching sessions reinforced learning, encouraged reflection, and ensured practical application.
Furthermore, cross-regional collaboration and knowledge sharing were built into the programme to strengthen teamwork and drive consistent results across the organisation.
