Simitri Update: How is it going so far in 2023?

AS WE STEP INTO THE SECOND HALF OF THE YEAR…

We explore cutting-edge trends of global importance across industries, demographics and geographies.

Lots of people are being promoted into management roles, our First Time Manager program has by far been the most popular in 2023 — slated to run 8200 cohorts!

Coming up as close runners-up are The Exceptional Presenter and our Emotional Intelligence (EI) programs.

Business soft skills and other Business Acumen (BA) programs top the list as well — Managing The Business, Proactive Problem Solving and Stakeholder Management.

More L&D departments in the APAC region are pivoting back to face-to-face, such as Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia and Korea.
Other regions still lagging slightly include UK and USA. How is it for your organisation?

At Simitri, our number of ILT (instructor-led training) has increased to 45% of sessions!

As thought leaders in the L&D world, our Global Solutions Team has researched and gathered information to identify these 5 key growth areas in 2023/2024:

  1. We see the continuation of innovation and development in transformative technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI). At this point, there is really very little excuse for being in business and not accepting or having an understanding of how AI will impact your business and industry. We help you change mindsets and adapt.

  2. Many industries are still plagued by supply chain issues that emerged during the global shutdowns caused by COVID-19 and have only worsened due to the Ukraine war. To combat this and stay afloat, companies need to improve their resilience in any way that they can.

  3. Investors and consumers prefer businesses with the right environmental and social credentials. Companies need to make sure that their ESG processes are moved to the center of their strategy. These include even diversity hiring practices, or collaboration and inclusion in the workplace.

  4. Customers crave experience above all else. That doesn't necessarily mean that price point and quality take a back seat, though. Both the role that technology plays here, as well as the salesperson, from the start of the marketing process till the after sales service, can make or break the business.

  5. Over the past half a year, we have seen huge movements of talented people — from physical attrition to mentally quitting (or "quiet quitting"), as workers reassess the impact of work and what they want to get out of their lives. As businesses re-train staff with skills needed to work alongside smart machines, we at Simitri can help grow their uniquely human skills that can’t be automated nor replaced. Invest in your workforce today!
